It is with regret to announce that last weekend we were burgled. We are based on the Jacksons Industrial Estate in Bourne End which has private security and the premises were considered very secure. We would like to make local businesses aware and to remain vigilant of these criminals as we are not the first to be targeted.
The break in took place after 1pm Saturday 16th Aug and before 7am Sunday 17th Aug. Entry was forced in through the rear of the building causing extensive damage. The thieves were clearly looking for copper and managed to steal very little as the premisses does not store anything of value. The thief’s having very little to steal then decided to ransack the premisses ripping radiators off the wall causing water damage via flooding, and causing further damage by setting off the fire system which covered the entire office in fire protective solutions. We have now had to invested in further security measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We hope that the police are able to catch these criminals, and by all accounts they have been seen on local CCTV which we hope has a positive outcome. However, if you hear of anything or have any information that could lead to this being resolved then please contact the police.
We would like to state we’re open as normal and this has NOT affected any of our services or customers. Thankfully none of our customers were let down this week as business has resumed as normal due to office equipment not being taken or damaged. We also had to act swiftly to ensure the building was professionally cleaned and put back to a good working order.
