GRAVITY GRAND PRIX 2021
After missing out in 2020 due to Covid, it was great to see the return of the Gravity Grand Prix. Thousands flocked to Cookham Dean and lined the streets to watch the handmade gravity powered karts hurtle downhill.
The charity event, which raises funds for the Thames Valley Air Ambulance was another huge success. The sun was shining and the local community came out in force to cheer on the many karts including our little Red Van Plumbers kart. We certainly didn’t beat any speed records. However, the team thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and were happy to support such a great community event and cause.
Heppelthwaite the Red Van Plumbers were proud to headline sponsor the Gravity Grand Prix for a second year. To celebrate the event we put on a BBQ for staff and guests.
We’d like to thank the organisers for allowing us to be apart of the Gravity Grand Prix and for all the hard work you all put into it. Count us in for next year, we are building a new kart and look forward to racing it in 2022.
