Vaillant ecoTEC Plus Open Vent

The ecoTEC plus open vent is Vaillant’s high performance regular boiler, designed to meet the demands of a wide range of homes and lifestyles. Its modulating burner can drop to 16% of its maximum output when full power is not needed, which helps reduce fuel consumption and running costs.

Available outputs: 12kW, 15kW, 18kW, 24kW, 28kW and 35kW

The ecoFIT pure is Vaillant’s compact regular boiler option, designed to fit into a standard kitchen cupboard. It is lightweight and efficient, with a rear flue option available for flexible positioning. A practical and reliable choice for homes where space around the boiler is limited.

A Vaillant regular boiler is likely to be a good fit if:

• The property already has a hot water cylinder and loft tanks in place
• You have multiple bathrooms or high simultaneous hot water demand
• Are replacing an existing regular boiler on a like for like basis
• Want to keep your existing pipework layout and system

A combi or system boiler may be a better option if:

• You want to remove the cylinder and loft tanks to free up space
• Your home has one or two bathrooms with modest hot water demand

Replacing an Existing Regular Boiler

Many older properties across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and South East England still run on back boilers or ageing open vent systems. These systems are often inefficient, unreliable and increasingly difficult to source parts for.

Replacing an existing regular boiler with a modern Vaillant ecoTEC plus or ecoFIT pure is often a straightforward like for like swap that uses the existing cylinder and pipework. In most cases, the new boiler will be significantly more efficient than the system it replaces, reducing both fuel consumption and running costs.

Vaillant Regular Boiler Guarantees

The ecoTEC plus open vent comes with a standard 5 year guarantee. The ecoFIT pure open vent comes with a standard 2 year guarantee. Both models can be extended to up to 10 years when installed by an accredited myREWARDS installer and registered with the correct Vaillant boiler protection kit or filter.
